"Chock-full of rhythm, melody, groove, light and color, the first EP from Lisbon duo Tender Grasp shows talent and promise. This is music to listen at night, driving through the streets of an Asian metropolis, in a convertible with the hood open, surrounded by skyscrapers, drenched in neon light, in true nostalgic, vaporwave fashion. Or as a sonic accompaniment to a Jane Fonda workout tape, with a disco ball in the ceiling.

The two have a familiar but promising sound, and despite not being signed to Dream Catalogue, or having the fame of Macross 82-99, Yung Bae or Saint Pepsi, their music shines as much, revealing a much welcome interest in a genre still unexplored in their place of birth, a brave gesture worthy of praise.
